Sahara AC replaced 3 complete AC units for me after 1 of my units seized and the other 2 froze up just last week.  I got 7 different quotes, Lucio with Sahara AC was right in the middle of the price range along with 2 other companies, however, he was the only one that actually explained in detail what he was going to do to replace the units.  It blew my mind that most of the other companies didn’t even tell me the SEER rating of the units they wanted to install until I started asking questions.  2 days after calling Lucio back, an army of Sahara AC trucks showed up and started replacing the units.  They were here for 12 hours, protected my floors, kept me informed the whole time, and replaced every piece of my old AC system.  By that night (2 days ago) the AC was up and running again.  The new AC units are working great and look beautiful.  I have never been so happy after someone did work on my house. It's rare that I post a review but the service and price was so excellent with Sahara Air that I felt it's the least I could do to show my appreciation.   Jeremy is an extremely knowledgeable and honest tech/sales person.  Financing was super easy and 0%  for long enough to pay off before any APR kicks in. Brenda in the office is an absolute pleasure to speak with and is very prompt in providing updates.  She truly showed they cared about getting the NV energy rebate. The guys that installed my system were courteous, clean, professional and took pride in their work.   The day of installation, it raining harder than I can recall in 10 years.  The guys stayed until the system was installed then came back the next day to be sure the humidity and rain didn't cause any issues.  They were very careful to not track mud or leave trash.  Another tech came a few days later to wrap the lines when everything was dry. (4 ton/16 seer Amana 2 stage with AprilAir Filter Love this filter BTW.)  Wish I had photos of the attic work.  The install is so clean and detailed compared to my old system that our builder put in. I hate to say in this day and age that customer service and pride in a job well done is lost but that seems to be the case with so many companies.  Not Sahara Air.  These people set the bar on service. Sahara installed my system in Nov. 2021 and are back today (same person, Jeremy, that sold me the system) to do a free pre-summer systems check (that they called to schedule)  Thank you Sahara Air. --------- My buying experience---- I started researching local companies leading into the summer of 21 looking for 3 to 4 bids. My 1st stop was Costco thinking that I would get the best price and having their warranty backup would be peace of mind.  I WAS WRONG.  The company Costco uses quoted me one price when I went direct to the vendor then a higher price when they found out I wanted to go through Costco.  That other company (not sahara) factors in the Costco discount and Executive rewards when they know you're going through Costco. Beware. I did get 2 other bids. One was a bit lower but the off brand units they used were not the same quality or features that Sahara had.  (I recommend a 2 stage to save on electricity) The other company's quote was SUPER high and they  kept saying it's because they provide their own Cadillac systems. ----- Do your research people. Excellent team of professionals! The crew sent out to replace my HVAC system was awesome. They were friendly, professional, and did an amazing job installing the new system. It looks great in my garage and I couldn’t be happier with the team sent out to my house to install the system. I've heard a lot of stories about scummy HVAC companies when moving to Vegas but the Vegas locals of reddit had nothing but positive things to say about Sahara. I'm here to say that they got it right with this company. The people on the phone were very nice and polite when scheduling the appointment. Tyler was the technician who came out and was an over the top good guy who was very helpful and informative. I've heard other companies send techs out who basically double as pushy sales people. This wasn't the case here. He gave me a bid for their service membership and some things I might want to get done and wasn't pushy about it. I'm pretty confident that these aren't the kind of people to charge a few thousand to swap a capacitor. Tyler seemed very honest and knowledgeable about what I needed to get done and how to best save some money like if I should go through my home warranty and things of that nature.

Let's be honest, A/C units feel like commodities. It's hard to sell commodities. The no BS-, no pressure-, and no terror-sale approach of Sahara A/C was refreshing (pan not intended). Plus, they were 31-35% cheaper than the others. That's a lot! How's that possible? I was concerned that "you get what you pay for" (I never chose the lowest bidder, ever). Yet, it turned out, Sahara A/C is cheaper because they don't gouge their price in the summer. I can't recommend them enough.

Sahara Air replaced my dying Carrier pack in 2007 or 2008. For the majority of its life (btw: it's still going strong!---better than them "bunny batteries"!) SA maintained it with semi-annual PMs. My experience has been that all the employees, that I have dealt with, have been knowledgeable, personable and, professional!!! The know what they're doing and do it extraordinarily well!!! I am beyond happy that SA is handling my AC!!!!! There is none better in the LV Valley!!!

We had an electrical fire in the attic that compromised the HVAC system. Called these folks out and had a great experience with the initial technician fully explaining our options. We decided to replace the entire system instead of trying to repair it, the installation crew came the next day and did a great job. Sahara Air has been reliable and stable since we started working with them. They have never tried to upsell us or get us to buy items/services we don’t need. Update 4 years later: Sahara Air is still the BEST! Obviously after our first encounter (below) when our unit actually did stop working we called Sahara Air again. To complete our due dillegence we also got 2 other estimates. Sahara Air was a whopping $7,000 LESS than major competitors. All expectations for excellence were met. The completely new system is in, it's running perfectly, and just passed inspection. They really have impacted our family in a big way by saving us so much money. Thank you to the entire team. 🙌 (Original review) Sahara Air saved us thousands of dollars. Our air stopped working and we had our "regular" service company come out. Long story short they said we needed at minimum a $1,100 repair up to a whole new unit. I called Sahara Air to compair the est, and Matt was so friendly and helpful I decided to have them come out and give us a second opinion. The tech was super professional and knew what he was doing, within moments he asked my husband a few questions and determined our unit had simply overheated.
